The White House is 115 km from the Fish River-Canyon (C12), and 125 km from Ai-Ais hotsprings (C10). The area is known for a succulent plant called Lithops (beeskloutjies). More specifically the Mickberg-gensis, a sub specie of the Karasmontana group can be found on this farm.

Hiking, Swimming, Camping
For those who would like to be more active, come and enjoy our hiking trail or cycling on dirt roads. Just bring your own mountain bike. We also have an old farm dam converted into a swimming pool with clear water and for the children; the Jungle Gym of their dreams.

The “Mickberg-gensis” a sub specie of the Karas-montana is unique to this farm. This trip and finding Lithops, is an experience of a lifetime. Dolf will make sure that you look in the right areas to find them and to see where these little plants grow in their normal habitat.
